Leodis was perfect for settling into Leeds. I found that because of the way it is set out, it becomes very sociable quickly with everyone in the block becoming accustomed with each other. Our block had a group chat for parties during freshers which helped me meet my close friends that I have kept since. Although Leodis bedrooms are on the smaller side, mine had an en-suite, double bed and suitable desk space. They also have hard floors which are easier to keep clean in student accommodations. Kitchens are shared between around 6 people and there is a good amount of space with a kitchen table, two sofas and a TV. The common room might be smaller than other accommodations but it has a pool table and football table. The pool table is terrible but it still was very fun to play at. One of the best things about the accommodation is that it is so close to uni. It’s about an 8 minute walk to campus. People complain about the hill, but while it is admittedly steep, it takes such a short time to walk that it doesn’t matter. The price was really good while I was staying there but it has become more expensive since last year.
