Loved it!

I had a lovely time at CV. It was always very well maintained and clean too. Maintenance were always on it if something went wrong (e.g. clogged drain). The flats were very warm though. You can't change the temperature and either have an extractor fan in the kitchen or a door with mesh that opens at an angle of about 20 degrees. Did struggle during the first few weeks of September. In 2021, everyone got new mattresses so they are still fairly new. The floor carpet was a bit scratchy and everything stuck to it, which made it difficult to vacuum. The walls were fairly thin, I was next to the stairwell and could hear people coming back from nights out and I could hear my flatmate gaming in the night. The curtains were not very blackout either. I did manage to get all of my deposit back (but I maintained the flat very well throughout the whole year).

Lovely accommodation

Modern student halls with nice communal areas. Bedrooms are well sized and en suits are perfect. Open plan kitchen and living space makes it easy to hangout with friends and flatmates. Not the most social accommodation but maybe this has changed since Covid! Ideal location, right on campus with Tesco and cafe Nero super close by.

i had a good time at cv

pretty much what everyone else says about cv, the rooms are really nice and the location's great but it is a bit less social than other accoms. there was plenty going on in freshers though so you can definitely meet people then. it's right next to campus and close to town which is really ideal, there's also a tesco express in one of the blocks which was a life saver. it was a bit more expensive than other accoms but i think you get what you pay for with the en suite rooms.
